Monetalia was made for one reason: to bring Monet's art to the people. We thought that Claude Monet and his paintings deserve much better presentation on Internet then it had in moment when Monetalia hits the Internet. Our mission was to present Monet’s colorful paintings as good as we can. It's up to you to judge if we were successful.
Of course, computer monitor isn't adequate way for enjoying in art so we had to make some sacrifice to be able to make nice and user-friendly gallery. To experience complete enjoyment of art we encourage you to visit some museums and watch the original paintings or at least a good print at your home.
